BIG BAND RADLJE is a club of young musicians founded in 1994 and they have entered their 13th year of work in the musical field. The club consists of twenty young musicians from Radlje and neighbouring towns, and they perform under the leadership of Dejan Kus.
It all started in 1994 when the art leader and conductor Izidor Leitinger joined forces of several young musicians and started the BIG BAND RADLJE.
BIG BAND RADLJE organised its first independent Easter concert in as early as 1995, and it has become a tradition over the years.
Even though they are an amateur big band, all members have graduated from primary music school, or are still attending it. A significant part of the members are students at various music academies, with some of them already active as music professors. We place special attention to our new generation and that is why we invited several new members to join our ranks.
The type of music played by BIG BAND RADLJE can only be characterised as varied. And so our concerts feature jazz, blues, relaxing modern and swing ballads, modern pop music that will send your feet tapping and evergreens, which are known and loved by all.
And where could one attend one of our concerts?
BIG BAND RADLJE performs all over Slovenia and even abroad. Numerous renowned musicians have worked together with BIG BAND RADLJE and they appear as guests at traditional Easter concerts organised by BIG BAND RADLJE.

Big band is lead by Dejan Kus and he appears in two functions, as the conductor and as solo performer on the saxophone. He also cooperates with HGM Jazz Orkester Zagreb as a saxophone player. Big Band Radlje performs in classic Big Band instrumentation, with vocalists adding their extra charm at concerts.
